I am a strong Born Again Christian that believes in the 10 Commandments: No lying, no cheating, no adultery, etc. I pray daily and read the Bible daily for strength to overcome, victory, healing, and prosperity. I eat a low fat, fiber rich diet, with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables so the vitamins aren't lost through cooking. I don't eat white flour, white sugar, or fried, greasy, processed food. That's why my body looks like a man in his 30s. I believe in fair, peaceful arguments: no throwing things, each person given an equal amount of time to speak their piece, no hitting each other, no breaking things, no slamming doors, no shouting, no profanity, no slamming phones, and admitting you're wrong when you and God know you are. Also, willingness to forgive because "If you don't forgive others (or yourself), God will not forgive you." But I believe in defending myself, the weak and the helpless, and my property. No where in the Bible does it say that we are doormats. After one or two warnings, if people will not stop violence or destruction of property, I react to stop them. I expect the same of others. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." And "Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit." Also, "Sometimes mere words are not enough, discipline is needed, for the words may not be heeded."(Proverbs 29:19--TLB).
